The process of migrating channels from Slack to existing teams and channels in Microsoft Teams is straightforward with our migration tool. Check out the steps for transferring Public as well as Private channels:

Transfer Public Slack Channels to Existing Teams

In the “Map & Migrate” stage of our migration tool, select the Public Slack channel you want to migrate. Next, choose the channel in a particular team where you want to migrate the Public Slack channel.

Select the mapped pair our tool generates and click on “Next” to proceed to the Direct Messages mapping stage, and start the migration.

Transfer Private Slack Channels to Existing Teams

Similarly, choose the Slack Private channels, and then choose the existing team and the channel within it where you want to get the Slack channel migrated.

Next, select the mapped pair generated by our tool, and proceed to the next step, and start the migration.

Check the Migration Reports

Check the status of the migration in the Reports dashboard of our tool.

The dashboard will display the “Completed” status after the channels are migrated.
